Karen was born in New York in 1984. She received her first computer in 1998 as a gift from her parents. Immediately fascinated by website design, she proceeded to teach herself HTML and, later on, XHTML, CSS, and graphic design principles. She operated a website dedicated to The Beatles throughout high school and much of college and interned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2002, where she developed a web feature for the museum's site. Karen holds a B.A. in Art History from Marymount Manhattan College. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in History at CUNY Lehman College.
Born in Shkoder, Albania in 1983, Fatjet studied history and archeology at the University of Florence, Italy from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, he moved to New York. Fatjet has previously worked with the Red Cross in both educative programs in Albania and in relief efforts during the 1999 Kosovo Crisis. He is currently a student at Mercy College pursuing a B.S. in Computer Information Systems.
